Discover the Financial District of Los Angeles

Los Angeles’ Financial District is one of 13 districts within downtown Los Angeles that make up the city’s historic core. Located just south of the Bunker Hill District, which starts at 5th Street, the Financial District replaced the original Spring Street Financial District, which fell into decline after the Second World War. The heart of the Financial District has many architecturally outstanding high-rise buildings that define the city’s unique skyline. Attracting over 10 million visitors each year, this vibrant part of downtown Los Angeles continues to enjoy a boom in construction, and is home to the tallest mixed-use building west of the Mississippi. A visit to the Financial District of Los Angeles should include the newly opened US Bank Tower with OUE Skyspace, the highest observation deck in California. Other noteworthy landmarks include the Brockman Building, Ernst and Young Plaza, the Fine Arts Building and Los Angeles Public Library.
