Simon Janashia Museum of Georgia, one of the museums unified under the biggest museum complex in Georgia – Georgian National Museum (GNM), is located on the Rustaveli Avenue, near the hotel. Museum of Georgia represents permanent and temporary exhibitions. Now on the view: Archaeological, Numismatic and Medieval Treasury, the exhibition of Georgian Weaponry, Georgian Archaeology from 8th millennium BC till 4th century AD, the Caucasus Natural History and Oriental Art collections, New Discoveries from Dmanisi and the “Museum of Soviet Occupation”.
