Loring Park refers to both the biggest park in the Central Community of Minneapolis in Minnesota, as well as the neighborhood it’s located in. The area is just three blocks from the city center and offers all the benefits of city living close to beautiful landscaped gardens teeming with local wildlife. The area has multiple cultural events running though the year, including the Loring Park Artists' Festival which provides a well-rounded sample of the local lifestyle. Fitness enthusiasts can enjoy the park using the many cycling and running trails that criss-cross through it. The area has a variety of interesting attractions for the curious visitor including the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, St. Mark's Episcopal Cathedral, Walker Art Center and the Basilica of St. Mary. The neighborhood is famous for its quirky mix of quaint apartment buildings, many of which date back to the early 1900s and are historic brownstones, as well as the modern condominiums and town houses.
