Step back into history at The Forbidden City, the old Imperial Palace of the Chinese rulers from the Ming dynasty to the Qing dynasty. It served as the home of emperors and their households, as well as the ceremonial and political center of Chinese government for almost 500 years. Located in the center of Beijing, it’s now a listed UNESCO World Heritage Site and showcases the Palace Museum which boasts paintings, antiques and ceramics from times gone by.
