Best Rate Promise Terms
2. Exclusions:
Our Best Rate Promise does not apply to:
- Rates secured through membership or loyalty programs of other websites.
- Reservations booked or claims submitted within 24 hours from the time and date of arrival at the hotel.
- The best rate promise does not apply if a same offer is available on www.millenniumhotels.com as a part of a sale campaign. If a same offer is available on www.millenniumhotels.com as a part of the sale campaign, the price will be matched if submitted as a part of the best rate promise claim, but no additional discount will be offered.
- Opaque or auction sites or such programs within other websites where the hotel is not known until booking is finalised. Examples of these types of sites include, but are not limited to, Priceline and Hotwire.
- Websites that offer "packaged" hotel accommodation with other components such as travel (e.g. airfares, train travel, etc), tours, car rental, entertainment and/or food offerings. Examples of websites that provide such packages include, but are not limited to, Site 59, BA holidays, Easyjet holidays, Superbreaks, Holidayextras and Delta vacations.
- Websites that require membership or require the user to log-in in order to access any offers, regardless if there is a charge for membership. Examples of these types of sites include, but are not limited to Travelzoo, Secretescapes, Wowcher, Groupon and Hoteltravel.com.
- Packaged rates that include taxes, resort fees, service charges and/or the cost of meals, coupons, parking, services or other amenities and add-ons.
- Qualified discount rates (for example, Government, AAA or Senior Citizen Discounts in the USA).
- Where any discounted rate has been negotiated or agreed upon by Millennium Hotels and Resorts (or any of its hotels or business entities) with a third party or where the rate is not publicly available. These include, but are not limited to group rates, corporate rates, rates granted to conference and event organisers, special rates for members of the My Millennium loyalty scheme and Millennium Hotels and Resorts’ employees.
3. Making a claim: Your claim must be submitted via our online claim form within 24 hours of receipt of your reservation confirmation. So that we may verify the validity of the claim, the lower rate you are relying on must be available for booking at the time of claim verification. If your claim is valid, we will send you an e-mail giving you the confirmation number of your reservation as well as the new rate applicable to your reservation. In the case of a prepaid reservation rate, the hotel will reimburse the difference in price on the credit card initially debited online (but not any costs of cancelling that booking). No cash refunds will be given. If the claim does not meet the conditions of the Best Rate Promise, we will send you an e-mail stating that the promise cannot be applied. To submit a claim, simply fill out our online claim form.
4. Currency fluctuations: We will convert any lower competing rate in a different currency into the same currency as the rate offered on our website, using the exchange rate determined by us in our sole discretion. If, after conversion to the same currency, there is a 2% or less difference between the competing rate and the Millennium Hotels and Resorts rate, then such competing rate shall not qualify for the Best Rate Promise. Currency exchange rate fluctuations are beyond our control.
5. Taxes, tips and incidental fees: Our Best Rate Promise only applies to the room rate for the duration of the reservation and does not apply to taxes, tariffs or fees imposed by any regulatory or governmental authority. Tips, guest incidental charges, food and beverage charges, resort fees and any other fees or charges (including credit card transaction fees) that you may incur while booking or during your stay are also excluded when comparing our rate against any other rate for the purposes of our Best Rate Promise.
6. My Millennium members: My Millennium loyalty points (My Points) awarded to My Millennium loyalty scheme members under any Best Rate Promise are subject to the My Millennium terms and conditions and will be based on the Qualifying Spend (as defined in those terms) actually paid by the My Millennium member for their stay.
We reserve the right in our sole discretion to modify or discontinue the Best Rate Promise at any time and without prior notice to you. Our failure or delay in enforcing any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. The terms of the Best Rate Promise are governed by and construed in accordance with English law. www.millenniumhotels.com is managed and operated for and on behalf of Millennium Hotels and Resorts by M&C Reservations Services Limited (Registered in England and Wales with Company no. 06754684).
