The Edwin and Percy Warner Parks cover over 2,600 acres of natural forest and grassland. Located nine miles from Downtown Nashville, The Warner Parks provide a popular area for outdoor recreation, picnics, hikes, bike rides, horse riding, cross-country running courses and golf courses. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the parks include a nature centre which offers programmes, maps, field trips and events to promote environmental education and stewardship.
