Explore Liverpool´s maritime history
In keeping with Liverpool’s long seafaring history, the Maritime Museum in Liverpool´s Albert Dock captures centuries of the city’s nautical and dockyard past. Spread over four floors, the exhibits include the crucial role that Liverpool played during World War 2 and the story of MV Derbyshire, Britain’s largest merchant ship to be lost at sea. Titanic fans will also find a fascinating exhibition about the doomed ship and its connection with the port of Liverpool.
