Maitreya Rock Scenic Resort is most famous for its Maitreya Statue, which began construction in 1341 and was completed in 1369. The Statue is cut into the original rock face and is the country's largest Maitreya Statue, with the figure of Buddha reaching nine meters high and 8.9 meters wide. Other prominent attractions at this resort include the Ruiyan Temple, and the celebrity cliff stone carvings. This is also a great place for a picnic with a unique view.
